I know Tyler explained the meaning behind the name Vessel as in
1. Something which is used to carry other things, of significance or not
2. Allusion to the body and how it is impermanent and decays

But thinking of it in terms of biology and blood being carried around in vessels makes the ‘It ain’t the speakers that bump hearts, it’s our hearts that make the beat’ line like, doubly interesting to hear. As an interpretation, I like the idea of people contributing to music and putting it out there for those who’ll use it… carry it around like, in and as almost a vessel, super close to them. That’s cool.

local-dream:

you know how in Truce one of the lines is “I hope I’m not my only friend”? well the other day I was thinking that was such a strange line, because from other twenty one pilots songs it is expressed openly how much Tyler hates himself and such, so he’s probably not a good to himself.

Then it hit me

Tyler doesn’t want to be his only friend, because he is one sucky ass friend to himself, and he needs someone who will be an actual friend to him

If Tyler ever did an acoustic version of Lovely one day, I’d probably cry lol.
I can hear it in my head and it sounds so gorgeous, just as a slow build-up and him singing ‘you say things with your mouth’ leading upto that proper crescendo of a bridge of ‘don’t be gone’ without auditory modifications. Just him and his voice all soft and strong and honest and raw like, it’d be perfect. An intimate stripping back of a song that’s already pretty emotionally raw.

I want it SO BAD!!!

Hey, yup! Well:

  • I had exams so then I was on hiatus
  • That hiatus got super long and I abandoned the blog a little because after my exams I had to wait to find out if I got into uni or not and I didn’t really feel like I could do anything without crying lmao
  • So no blog
  • Then I found out I got into uni
  • I leave in like, a few days so I figured let’s blog again!!

I’ve never met Tyler Joseph but I trust him with all my secrets

Also!! I finally got around to making patches for my jacket, and obviously, this one was suuuper necessary.
